Terms and Conditions — Angie Curly Hair

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.angieelder.com (the "Site"), owned and operated by Angie Elder, operating as Angie Curly Hair. By using this Site or booking a service with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. About This Site

This Site is an informational and booking website for salon services provided by Angie Elder at 5332 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB

2. Services

We offer curl cutting, curl coaching, painted curls (Pintura), grey blending, and related hair services. Appointments are booked through Square. Descriptions on the Site are for general guidance — actual results vary by hair type and condition, and are discussed during your consultation.

3. Booking, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy

Appointments are booked and managed through Square.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before your appointment are eligible for a full refund of any deposit paid.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your appointment, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.
We reserve the right to reschedule or decline service where necessary.

4. Third-Party Products and Courses

We sell or promote products and educational content — including our Curly Hair Styling Guide — through third-party platforms such as Beacons.ai. Purchases made through these platforms are governed by that platform's own terms and refund policies, not ours.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

This Site contains affiliate links, including to our Amazon storefront. If you make a purchase through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products we genuinely use or believe in.

6. Client Photos and Testimonials

With your signed written consent, we may photograph and publish before/after images of your hair, and may feature client testimonials, on this Site and our social media. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your photos and personal information.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including images, text, logos, and downloadable files — is the property of Angie Elder unless otherwise noted, and may not be used without permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this Site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party, or to act fraudulently in connection with the Site.

9. Links to Other Websites

This Site links to third-party websites and services we do not control, including Square, Phorest, Beacons.ai, Amazon, and AGCare. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Angie Elder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or our services.

11. Consumer Protection Law

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer protection legislation, where such rights cannot be excluded by agreement.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us directly first to resolve it informally. Both parties retain the right to bring a claim in small claims court.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
